Graduated from the Nakhimov Naval School and the Higher Naval School of Diving. After completing his studies, he served in the 1st flotilla of nuclear submarines in the Northern Fleet, where in 1990 he wrote his first story "Pyromania". The prose was not at all seascape, and he left the army, not having time to get even the next military rank after lieutenant. Now he lives in St. Petersburg and works in an advertising agency.
