Igor Pismenny was born in 1966 in the small Ural town of Verkhniy Ufaley. Since the boy was in poor health, the doctors advised to take him to a warmer climate, and soon the family moved to Volgodonsk. In the sixth grade, Igor began attending a theater studio. After graduating from school, he was enrolled in the NPI branch, however, he did not study there for long - after the first year of Writing, he was called up for military service. Returning from the army, Igor did not continue his studies at the university and got a job at a nuclear power engineering plant.
In 1985, the young man decided to become an actor. He entered the Rostov School of Arts, and in 1987 transferred to the second year of the Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography in St. Petersburg. In 1990, Igor Pismenny's filmography was opened by filming the film Rock and Roll for Princesses. Since Igor played this role, without consulting the dean's office, he was forced to take his documents and leave the educational institution. In the same year, Pismenny moved to Moscow and entered the troupe of the Hermitage Theater, on the stage of which he performed for the next 15 years.
In 1994, the actor still received a higher education diploma, completing his studies at GITIS. Since 2000, Igor began to actively work in the cinema. Pismenny is engaged in dubbing films and cartoons, he has already dubbed more than 45 films. Igor also directed and wrote the films Kumovsky Tales and Ivan Sila.
