Was born on October 22, 1949 in Chuvashia. From early childhood he was "infected" by the atmosphere of the theater. Father Viktor Pavlovich is a famous director, playwright, theater teacher. Mother Faina Aleksandrovna is a theater critic, the best connoisseur of the Chuvash theater.
The medalist graduate left his native Cheboksary and moved to Moscow. But on the way he changed his mind and returned home, entered the pedagogical institute. And a year later he waved to Leningrad.
