She was born on November 5, 1964 in Sweden in the city of Kalmar. She played her first film role in the 1986 comedy drama "The Mozart Brothers" .
In 1989 she won the Amanda Award for Best Actress in the crime thriller Karachi. In 1991 she starred in the famous television series "The Chronicles of Young Indiana Jones" .
Amanda was nominated three times for the Swedish Golden Beetle Award: 2006 (Harry's Daughters) and 2007 (Search) for Best Actress, 2009 (Unforgettable Moments) for Best Supporting Actress.
Amanda also starred in the 2012 action movie "The Expendables 2" featuring many famous actors.
