She was born on September 25, 1926 in the village of Krasnoe, Lipetsk region. Then the Kozlenkov family moved to Moscow and lived on Sretenka. It was there that Klava went to school. Since childhood, she was fond of dancing, loved to perform at matinees. When she was in high school, the Great Patriotic War began. To help the front, Klavdia went to work at a school plant - she sewed linen for soldiers. She went to school in the morning and worked in the evenings.
