Born September 18, 1953, New York is an American actress.

The girl was adopted by rich people for whom she became the only child. As a child, she felt lonely and had no friends.

Anna's father worked a lot in Europe. The family lived in Paris for a long time. Her adoptive father was a fan of the theater and often took his daughter with him. At the age of 17, Anna was sent to study at the School of Fine Arts in France. There she tried many professions from colorist to costume designer. She did not seriously consider her acting career.

Her career changed dramatically with Christopher Walken, who offered her a role in the play Champion Child, and after her successful performance helped her break into Hollywood.

Anna played her first significant role in 1979 in Luis San Andres' drama Flowers of the Night. In 1999, she co-starred in the acclaimed and award-winning Francois Ozon film Raindrops on Hot Rocks.
