Honored Artist of Russia Valentina Kalinina was born on April 18, 1923. As a little girl, she dreamed of becoming a famous artist, and her dream came true, however, the star burned brightly, but not for long. The future actress took the training course at the Moscow Art Theater School under the guidance of Joseph Raevsky, which she graduated with honors in 1947. Valentina was the best on the course, so from 1947 she worked in the main cast of the Moscow Art Theater troupe, to which she gave 33 years of her life.
