In 1930 he graduated from the College of Performing Arts. In 1930-1987 - an actor of the Leningrad Academic Drama Theater named after A. Pushkin. He taught at the Leningrad Theater Institute. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1957). He passed away on February 2, 1987.
