American puppeteer, director, producer and technician. Born on November 3, 1963. The son of puppeteers Jane and Jim Henson, Brian was born in New York. His sister Lisa is the CEO and he is the chairman of Jim Henson's company.
Brian Henson was the third child of Jane and Jim Henson. As a child, he made several miniatures in some segments of performances directed by his father, the producer, for the children's series Sesame, mainly in segments of the Number Song Series. As he got older, he created the first Penguin puppet for the opening of "Lullaby of Broadway," a season segment of three episodes of the Muppet Show starring Gilda Radner. During his summer vacations at the gymnasium in 1980, he helped create the bike segments for The Great Muppet Caper (1981). He was involved in the creation and operation of special rigging devices that were created to allow the Muppets to ride bicycles. Several years later, he also worked with a scooter puppet in The Muppets Take Manhattan (1984).
