He entered the Moscow Pedagogical Institute. He did not finish his studies. He worked as a graphic designer. From the 1950s he worked in the rough phase-out workshop, was a graphic designer at the Soyuzmultfilm studio .
Since the 1960s, according to his scripts, cartoons have been filmed by directors P.N. Nosov, B.S.Kotov, V.Ya.Bordzilovsky, B.P.Butakov, G.M. Kozlov, L.L. Kayukov and others.
