Born on December 10 (22), 1889 in Belopole, Sumy region.
He passed away on November 8, 1975 in Kharkov.
Graduated from the Kiev Institute of Music and Drama named after Nikolai Lysenko (1919, received Diploma No. 1).
In 1920-1921. - actor "Kiidramte", in 1922-1923, 1926-1935. - Actor of the Berezil theater, in 1935-1975. - actor of the Kharkov Ukrainian Drama Theater named after T.G. Shevchenko.
In 1946-1975. - teacher of acting at the Kharkov Theater Institute. Professor (1957). Among Antonovich's students are Leonid Bykov and others.
