Born on March 29, 1907.
In 1929 he graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Central Asian University. He began his stage career in 1924 in Andijan, then worked in theaters in Tashkent, Arkhangelsk, Kursk, Voronezh, Nikolaev, etc.
Since 1954 he worked at the Chisinau Russian Drama Theater named after. A.P. Chekhov.
Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR.
People's Artist of the Moldavian SSR (1958).
