Born on December 18, 1912 in Penza.
He was an actor in drama theaters in Yaroslavl, Saratov, Sevastopol. Since 1936 - an actor of the Kiev Russian Theater named after I. Lesia Ukrainka. In cinema since 1956. People's Artist of Ukraine (1976) .
He passed away in 2006, was buried in Kiev at the Lukyanovsky cemetery-reserve.
