Born on December 31, 1921 in the village of Petrovskoe, Vyshgorodsky district, Kiev region. In 1951 he graduated from the drama studio at the Kiev Ukrainian Drama Theater named after Ivan Franko. In 1951-1956. worked at the Luhansk Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater, since 1956 - at the Kiev Theater for Young Spectators. People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1980). Lived and worked in Kiev.
Passed away on March 8, 2005. Buried at the Baikovo cemetery in Kiev.
