Born on May 1, 1941 in Saratov.
In 1959 she entered the Saratov Theater School. In the third year of the school, Zorina met Oleg Yankovsky, who was studying a year younger. They soon got married. After graduating from a theater school in 1964 (teacher - A.G. Vasilevsky), she was admitted to the Saratov Drama Theater, where she quickly became a star. For 10 years she played about 50 central roles in the performances of the Saratov theater. In 1974, together with her husband Oleg Yankovsky, she joined the troupe of the Moscow Lenkom Theater.
