Born April 5, 1973, Virginia Beach, Virginia is an American singer, rapper, record producer, musician, and fashion designer.
In the 1990s, Chad Hugo and Farrell formed a four-member R&B group called The Neptunes, which also included friends Shay Haley and Mike Etheridge. They took part in a high school music competition, where they were spotted by producer and musician Teddy Riley. After graduating from high school, the group signed with Teddy Riley.
In 2008, the single "Give It 2 ??Me", written by Farrell in collaboration with Madonna, was released on the shelves of record stores. Both artists appear in the video for the song.
As a member of The Neptunes, Farrell has produced a huge number of hits for a wide variety of megastars.
