On his mother he has a brother Oliver and a sister Kate, who also became actors, and on his father - a brother Boston. The actor has Jewish, German, Scottish, English and Irish roots.
As a teenager, Russell played professional hockey and played for the Richmond Sockeyes, Langley Hornets, Coquitlam Express, Chicago Steel as a goalkeeper. At the age of 24, Wyatt suffered a serious rib injury and decided to try himself as an actor during a long period of rehabilitation.
Russell first appeared on the cinema screens as a child, playing a minor role in the film "Soldier". As an adult, he began acting in 2010.
