Simon Abkaryan - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips, Actor.

Born on March 5, 1962, Gonesse is a French actor of Armenian descent.

He spent his childhood in Lebanon, after the outbreak of the civil war, he moved to the United States. In Los Angeles, Abkaryan joined the troupe of the Armenian theater under the direction of Gerald Parazyan. In 1985 he returned to France and became an actor in Ariana Mnushkina's Theatre du Soleil. Abkaryan excelled in the classical repertoire of the theater, in 2001 he was awarded the Moliere Prize for Best Actor. He also staged six pieces himself, three of which were of his own composition.

Has been acting in films since 1989. The films Aram by Robert Keshishyan, Ararat by Atom Egoyan, The Scar by Fatih Akin, The Serpent by Eric Barbier, Casino Royale by Martin Campbell, 1915 by Karin Hovhannisyan and Alek Mukhibyan, and also the role of Misak Manushyan in Robert Gedigian's film “Army of Criminals”. In total, he has played in more than seventy films.
