Born April 17, 1979, Palermo is an Italian singer. Winner of several Italian national music awards. The performer's first album, EP Non Ti Scordar Mai Di Me, released in June 2008, went multiplatinum on sales in Italy. In October 2008, the singer released her first full-length album Gaetana via Sony BMG Records. More than 80,000 copies were sold in a month, and the single "Novembre" has topped the main Italian music chart FIMI for five weeks.
