Vladimir Vinokur was born into an ordinary family on March 31, 1948. Dad was a builder, mom taught Russian language and literature at school. And they lived in Kursk. They had nothing to do with art, so we will try to figure out how the boy Vova came to the status of Honored Artist and People's Artist of the RSFRS.

If today everyone knows the gray-haired Vinokur as a humorous performer of the spoken genre, then his path began in the musical sphere.

In the beautiful summer of 1962, young Vladimir was sent to rest in the Artek camp. It was there that he received his first award in his life. For the performance of the Buchenwald alarm, Yuri Gagarin himself presented the guy with a gold medal, after which, upon returning home, Vladimir is increasingly thinking about further studies. He knew that he would succeed on the creative path, but in those precarious times it was impossible to be sure of such a frivolous profession. Therefore, Vova decides to kill two birds with one stone. During the day he goes to classes at the Kursk Editing College, and while away the evenings at the music school. Feeling confident in his abilities, in 1967 Vladimir Vinokur tries to get into GITIS. He goes through three vocal tours without any problems, but without a certificate of complete secondary education, he was not allowed further. Vinokur had to go to the army.

There he performs a lot in the ensemble of the Moscow Military District and for the first time tries to show solo numbers. In 1969, he again appeared at the entrance exams at GITIS, and the second attempt would be crowned with success. For another two years he will have to combine his studies with work. Believe it or not - with work in a circus. How did he get there? It was an interesting case of Vinokur's acquaintance with Yuri Nikulin, who at that moment was already heading his own circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard and invited Volodya to work together. It was in the circus that Vinokur first thought about the fact that laughter is the best that he can give people. He begins to write scripts for humorous numbers. And gets to the point.

In 1975, working together with the ensemble Samotsvety, Vinokur presents the audience with the famous production Misfire, where he demonstrates his talents in a parody. At the same time, Vladimir plays many worthy roles in the Moscow Operetta Theater.

In 1977, with the number where he performed Yakubovich's monologue, he won the All-Russian Contest of Variety Artists. This event will bring glory and love of the viewer to Vinokur. Now Vladimir is confidently standing on the stage. He is increasingly invited to television and to private concerts.

But at first only the voice of Vladimir Natanovich appeared in the cinema. In 1979 and 1984, he will agree to work on the voice acting for two short films The Last Wizards and The Wolf and the Calf. And in 1989, Vinokur will ripen to create his own theater, which exists to this day. At the same time, he actively participates in the humorous Full House, along with no less outstanding humorists of that time. So Vinokur took his niche on the air of TV.

Everything was going very well. In November 1991, Vladimir was appointed to the post of adviser to the vice-president of the RSFSR for cultural affairs. But fate played a cruel joke with the artist. A few months later, in Germany, Vinokur gets into a car accident. It was truly awful. The artist says that he survived by a miracle. Two of his friends died on the spot. He also had severe leg injuries. Doctors tended towards amputation. At that moment, Joseph Kobzon came to the rescue in time, who contributed to Vinokur being transferred under the wing of Russian doctors. When Volodya got to his feet after the operation, he realized what life is worth.

After that, in 1993, the first film with Vladimir Vinokur will be released. A pistol with a silencer, and in 1998 he will play in Oleg Ryaskov's field romance. In the period from 2000 to 2013, the films The Snow Queen (2003), The Kingdom of Crooked Mirrors (2007), The Golden Fish (2008) and New Year's sms (2011) will be released.

The roles of Vladimir Vinokur are mostly humorous. All these years he was faithful to his profession. He still continues to tour, write numbers and make people laugh. At the beginning of 2000 he was invited by Alexander Maslyakov to be a jury member of the Voting KiViN festival, which traditionally takes place in Jurmala every year.
