The talented theater and film actor Juris Lauciньs was born in Latvia in 1957. He was raised by one mother - he never saw his father. At the age of ten, Juris made a choice that determined his entire further life path - he joined the drama club. The teenager raved about the theater and decided to become an actor. But the family could barely make ends meet, and after graduating from school, the young man had to turn the steering wheel of a car for a year, earning a living.
Juris Lautsinsh came to conquer Moscow in 1975 together with his peers, with whom he played in the folk theater. The goal was - Shchukin school, but Yuris reached it alone. This victory went to him too easily, because he did not appreciate it and his studies stretched out for thirteen years: due to the excessive passion for alcohol, the student, whose talent was recognized as indisputable, were regularly expelled. During his free swimming, Yuris attended courses of famous teachers - A. Kazanskaya and E. Simonov, A. Burov and M. Tsarev in Moscow, as well as I. Vladimirov at the Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography, where he also entered thanks to his acting talent and studied from 1980 to 1981. In addition, he mined gold in Kyzyl Kum, diamonds in Pechora and ... he continued to drink. Juris Lauciньs received his diploma in 1988 at Pike, keeping his word to himself.
Lautsinsh played in theaters for young spectators in Chelyabinsk and Riga, drama theaters in Yaroslavl, Bryansk, Daugavpils. His talent was highly appreciated, but the roles of Juris Lautsins were becoming less and less - not a single director dared to entrust the key role to the drinking actor. Friends turned away, mother died, wife went to a friend - it seemed that life was over. Lautsinsh even tried to commit suicide.
2005 was a turning point in the life of Juris Lautsins. He was found in a mental hospital at the request of director Alexei German, who was filming the film Difficult to be God. The actor was in the frame for only eight minutes, but managed to shock him with his acting. Invitations poured in one after another - in eight years he starred in fifty films and TV series.
