Born 1970 in La Rochelle, Poitou-Charente in France.
Paronno is a regular contributor to Marjane Satrapi. Their first collaboration, the animation Persepolis, won the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and Oscar nomination. In 2011, Paronno and Satrapi presented a feature film at the Venice Festival - the melodrama Chicken with Prunes. He is also known as the author of comics, which he signs with the pseudonym Winshluss. In 2008 and 2009, his personal exhibitions were held in Paris.
