Mariangela Melato was born in September 1941 in beautiful Milan. Her father worked as a police officer, and her mother was a seamstress. From childhood, Marianjela was passionate about drawing, so her parents decided to send her to the Brera Academy, where she began to study painting. At an older age, she was interested in theater. To study with Esperia Sperani, the young Marianjela began working part-time in a prestigious department store as a fashion model in order to pay for the courses herself.

Her stage debut took place in 1960. For ten years she has achieved incredible success and received enormous recognition.
