At the age of 12, he played for the first time on the theater stage, and in the fifth grade he first visited the capital, at his first screenings. The guy was out of luck that time. Moscow rarely welcomes uninvited guests. But Victor will come back here. Later. And it will stay forever.

Meanwhile, at the end of the 8th grade, the boy tries to enter the circus school, where he seems to be going, but the management asks to wait a little. Like, you get a complete average - then come. Victor did not appear there again. After graduating from school, Sukhorukov makes a second attempt to catch on in Moscow. He is trying to get into the studio school at the Moscow Art Theater, but there the guy will be told that his appearance is not artistic. Full of frustration, he will be forced to join the army. But Viktor Sukhorukov does not sit idle in the service either. In the army amateur club, not a single production, not a single concert took place without Viti. However, time flew by, and the chances of getting into real studies at the theater were decreasing. After the service, he returns home and works for two years in a local factory. Exactly until the moment when the uninteresting work will not be right across his throat. Then the future actor collects some things, learns the text by heart and without much enthusiasm for the third time goes to the capricious capital.

Yes, this time he succeeded. In 1974, not without problems, of course, because the competition was simply fierce, but he still entered GITIS and studied there for four years. Life is getting better, Sukhorukov starts making good money. And either because of luck, or because of fatigue, he increasingly looks into the bottle. Even now, the actor talks about this period as the most difficult in his life. He started skipping rehearsals, for which he was fired. Yes, not just fired, but without the right to work for another six months. Few people at that time were able to "profuse" so quickly everything that they had been striving for for several years. True, in 1983 he still played several small roles in films, but this is a drop in the ocean. The actor got into debt and worked wherever he could. I washed the dishes, then unloaded the cars.

With incredible efforts on himself, Sukhorukov manages to give up his bad habit, and he slowly returns to life. Attends auditions, auditions for roles. In 1986, he was taken to the Lenin Komsomol Theater, where the actor plays in several performances: Belugin's Marriage; The Dragon; Long live stupidity! And although the actor dreamed of playing in films all his life, the theatrical stage did not particularly appeal to him, he was not needed at all in film circles.

However, by chance, Victor comes up with an offer to play in the comedy Sideburns. Sukhorukov did not hesitate - either pan or disappeared. He agreed and was not mistaken. After the successful premiere, director Alexei Balabanov became interested in the actor, who saw a clear talent in Sukhorukov. After a small check in the Happy Days tape, where Viktor confidently proved his competence in the profession, Balabanov removes him together with Bodrov Jr. in the legendary Russian action movie Brother. Then no one suspected what a success this work would turn out to be both for the director and for the acting group. Victor is 40. And he is finally known. The film with Viktor Sukhorukov Brother-2 was presented to the audience's court in 2000. And now, real universal love fell on the actor.

Having earned himself the role of a bad guy, from whom it is rather difficult to wash off, Sukhorukov is offered to play only negative characters.
