The very next year, in 1987, inspired by the success of the first film, Howard Deutsch, again with Hughes, shot Some Kind of Wonderful. Similar in genre to the first, the picture again tells about the love affairs of young people, and the teenage and youth audience is already waiting for new films from the director. The third film by the successful creative duo Hughes-Deutsch is the acclaimed comedy 'The Great Outdoors', released in 1988. In the center of the plot is the family dreaming of a relaxing holiday in a secluded place. However, adult sons, whose company a couple of girls have become, make you forget about a quiet rest ...

Comedy melodrama Grumpier Old Men appears on the screens in 1995 and tells about a very cheerful person who managed to shake up a sleepy little town, and old friends-neighbors who declared war on the lady. In 2000, Deutsch shoots the sports comedy 'The Replacements' with Keanu Reeves in the title role; in 2004, 'Nine Yards 2' (The Whole Ten Yards) was released. Bruce Willis and Matthew Perry make the movie a hit.
