Belarusian actor, screenwriter, director.
Born on March 17, 1959 in the village of Glubokoe, Vitebsk region. He grew up without parents in a boarding school in Oshmyany district. Before the army, he worked as a tractor driver on a state farm. Since 1985, for three years, he worked in Nizhnevartovsk as a truck driver. Returning from the north, he entered to study at the Minsk metro, in the direction he studied in Kharkov. He worked as a machinist in the Minsk metro. With the beginning of perestroika, he traveled by shuttle to Poland for several years.
In 1992 he entered the studio-school based on the Belarusfilm film studio. Graduated in 1994. He has starred in over 40 films.
Currently works as the CEO of TorgWesting .
A book is being prepared for publication based on Turovich's scripts "Forgotten War" (about the First World War), "Afghan" (about the courage of Soviet officers and soldiers), "Santa Lucia" (about orphans who grew up in a boarding school) and "Sonny" ( the tragedy of parent-child relations).
