Was born on April 21, 1945 in Leningrad. In 1968 he graduated from the Leningrad Higher School of Industrial Art. Mukhina with a degree in Ceramics and Glass. Since 1970 - artist-decorator, in 1971-1991. - production designer of the film studio "Lenfilm". Since 1991 he has been living and working in the USA. He teaches at New York University, collaborates with galleries, works in theater and television.
