Born to a family of teachers in Newton, Massachusetts, spent her childhood in Burlington, Massachusetts. Graduated from Boston College, after college moved to Chicago. From 2001 to 2008 she was a regular participant in the show "Saturday Night Live". Pouler is married to actor Will Arnett. They played together in the films "Blades of Glory: Stars on Ice" and "Spring Break", and also took part in the scoring of the cartoons "Horton" and "Monsters vs. Aliens". Pouler has two sons - Archibald William Emerson "Archie" Arnett (b. 25.10.2008) and Abel James Arnett (b. 06.08.2010).
