Inna Kmit's father is the popular actor Leonid Kmit (1908-1982), known for his role as Petka in the legendary film "Chapaev".
Graduated from the Moscow Theater School named after M.S. Shchepkina and worked at the Lenin Komsomol Theater (Lenkom). In the late 1950s, she went to work in television. She graduated from directing courses and eventually became the director of the program "Time" .
The actress was buried at the Kuntsevo cemetery in Moscow.
