Born July 18, 1981 is a Dutch actor best known for his roles on American television.

Started his career on local television as a teenager and moved to the United States a decade later. From 2010 to 2013, he starred in the HBO series Trimay, while taking on a supporting role on the ABC series Nashville. In 2014, Huisman landed the role of Daario Naharis on HBO's Game of Thrones, while also joining the BBC America series Dark Child.
