Born on August 30, 1948 in Moscow.
In 1972 she graduated from the Shchepkin Theater School and became an actress at the Zwilling Chelyabinsk Drama Theater.
1977-1982 - at the Ostrovsky Moscow Regional Theater.
Since 1981 she worked at the Mosconcert, in the theaters "Sphere", "On Gogolevsky Boulevard", "Character", "On Trifonovskaya", "Kovcheg", "Diaghilev Center", "Wandering Stars".
Frolovtseva began acting in films back in the late 70s. Not having entered the drama school the first time, she worked as a puncher on a computer, at the same time acting in extras at Mosfilm (The Golden Calf, Shield and Sword, etc.).
Honored Artist of Russia (2002).
