Born on December 6, 1951 in the village of Hadrut (Nagorno-Karabakh). Armenian Soviet operator. In 1969-70 he studied at the Kiev Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers, in 1970-72 at the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute. In cinema since 1972. In 1980 he graduated from the camera department of VGIK and from the same year - the operator of the "Armenfilm" cinema. He also worked for the Lenfilm film studio ("Alik's principled and compassionate glance", 1996, "I first saw you", 1996, "Calendula flowers", 1998).
