She began to work at the Moscow Chamber Theater under Tairov, then was the prima of the Moscow Operetta Theater, since 1940 - the soloist of the Moscow Musical Theater. K. S. Stanislavsky and V. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko. In 1941-1943 - worked in the front-line acting brigades. She played the role of Silva in the film adaptation of the famous operetta of the same name by Imre Kalman (1944).
