On the set of the Nepoddyashchikh, Alexei first meets Nadezhda Rumyantseva, with whom he will play in the comedy Queen of the Gas Station in 1962, a comedy that continues to shine on television screens today.
In the 70s - 80s, a large number of his films were released, however, they no longer had such widespread success as the early works of the actor. The best films with Alexei Kozhevnikov remained in the sixties, this is the melodrama The Tale of the Newlyweds (1959), and the drama I Love You, Life (1960), and the adventure comedy Striped Flight (1961), and the drama Sinful Angel (1962), and the sensational comedy Bunny (1964), and the war thriller In War as in War (1968), and many others.
Kozhevnikov's last job was filming a mini-series Jack Vosmerkin - American, released in 1986. In the autumn of the same year, Alexey Alexandrovich Kozhevnikov passed away.
