He was educated at the National Theater Academy in Warsaw.
His debut took place in 1955 on the stage of the New Warsaw Theater, for many years he worked at the Drama Theater, played in productions of Dead Souls, King Lear and others.
In addition, Zapasevich collaborated with the Contemporary Theater, and film directors - Andrzej Wajda and Krzysztof Zanussi.
