Born on October 19, 1975 in Leningrad in a theatrical family: father - actor Alexander Arbat (Kurepov), mother - actress Irina Stepanova.
In 1991 she became a student of the N. Cherkasov Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography.
A year later she moved to Moscow and was admitted to GITIS, on the course of Peter Fomenko. After studying there for two years, she returned to St. Petersburg, where she played in the performances "Kassandra" (Children's Philharmonic) and "Lady Macbeth" (Theater "Shelter of Comedians")
The actress has two children - son Grigory and daughter Sophia.
