The future famous Soviet actor Adolf Alekseevich Shestakov first saw the world on May 20, 1928. He was born in the Perm region, in the small town of Lysiev, but the period of childhood and youth, burdened by military hardships, the actor Adolf Shestakov spent in difficult conditions. As a teenager, he worked at the Ural plant, and after the war he moved to Moscow, where he managed to become a happy student of the famous Moscow Art Theater.

In 1955, while in his fourth year of university, Adolf began to play in productions of the Alexandria Theater (the theater named after Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin), and later even received an invitation from theater director Georgy Alexandrovich Tovstonogov to perform on the stage of the Bolshoi Drama Theater. Due to personal convictions, Shestakov rejected the offer and remained in the same place, where he successfully took part in more than twenty different plays.
