In 1960 she graduated from the Higher State Theater School in Krakow (puppeteer faculty). At first she worked at the Grotesque puppet theater. In the same year she made her debut in cinema (adaptation of the children's story by Maria Konopnitskaya "Mary and the Dwarfs"). In the 1960s she took part in the troupe of Jerzy Grotowski (Theater of 13 Rows in Opole and Theater-Laboratory in Wroclaw). Then she played in other theaters in Wroclaw, and from 1972 she played in Warsaw. Since 1982 he has been teaching at the Warsaw Theater Academy.
