Born March 15, 1951 in Leningrad.
After graduating from high school and serving in the army, he entered the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography (LGITMiK) at the acting department of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts.
In 1976 he received a diploma from LGITMiK (a) .
Over the years he worked in the theaters of Leningrad - the Comedy Theater, the Youth Theater, the Drama and Comedy Theater at Liteiny.
Since 1986, for two seasons he took part in a theatrical project of the Saratov Drama Theater. At the same time, he began to actively act in films.
During the filming of the film "Everything Is Paid", which took place during the war in Afghanistan, he was seriously wounded - the pin from the antenna of the armored personnel carrier entered the actor's body by 15 centimeters. Several operations brought Litvinov back to life.
