The future Honored Artist of the RSFSR Vera Kuznetsova was born in the Russian Empire, on October 6, 1907, in the city of Saratov. Vera Andreevna had 5 brothers and sisters. And in the fall of 1933, many spectators came to watch Vera Kuznetsova, because she participated in the theatrical production of Isaac Kroll - the play Mad Money based on Ostrovsky's play. This was the beginning of her dizzying career as a theater and film artist. And later the theater, under which Vera Andreevna performed, was given the name - New. So she became one of the founders of the New Leningrad Theater and worked on its stage from the very first day of its opening. She has more than ten diverse roles on her account. V. A. Kuznetsova's debut as a film actress took place in 1954. She played the role of Agafya Karpovna Zhurbina in the film Big Family. The actress played her last film role in 1991 in the historical drama directed by Viktor Tregubovich - Khmel.

Vera Kuznetsova was married to actor Anatoly Kuznetsov, whom she met on the stage of the Leningrad Theater. The couple had two children. The eldest son Vsevolod followed in the footsteps of his parents and also became a theater and film actor.

Actress died in 1994. The grave of Vera Andreyevna Kuznetsova is located at the Bolsheokhotinskoye cemetery in St. Petersburg.
