Anna was born in the city of Minsk on November 27, 1972. And from childhood, parents began to notice creative impulses for the girl. She wrote poetry and did figure skating. In her early years, she became a guest of the TV program as a talented schoolgirl.

She took part in the first performance when she was six years old. Her mother worked in the theater, so the girl knew the whole backstage life from childhood. There could be no other way. Anna chooses an artistic career. At first, however, she hesitated between the musical and drama theater, but still preferred the latter. Anna finishes a senior special school with in-depth study of theatrical direction, but in Minsk she will not be able to go to college. Already in 1990, Moscow met her. The girl went to get a profession in the capital of Russia. Enters the "Shchukinka" and meets there the future husband of Romanian origin, with whom they will get married in a year. From this moment, changes are coming in the life of the actress. She manages to snatch the lead role in the comedy film I Want Your Husband. And this was the first notable appearance on the TV screen. And in 1992, the couple had a daughter.

Upon graduation, Anna Dubrovskaya is obliged to find a job, and her choice falls on the Vakhtangov Theater, where she is immediately offered good conditions. But something is going wrong. It seems that she works tirelessly, and there is no end of offers (her name is in performances and other theaters), but Dubrovskaya dreams of the main roles. From time to time playing in rare performances, she cannot satisfy her ambitions and promises herself to leave the theater.

Another aspect of acting is television. But even here Anna does not really succeed. Perhaps this was influenced by the period itself. In the late 90s, the film industry could not boast of genius achievements. But Anna manages to play in the Russian Countess de Monsoreau and the American film Black Sea 2013. Many critics call this role of Anna the most provocative of all she has played. In 1996, Anna was finally granted Russian citizenship.

Since then, life has begun to improve. The husband left the theater for business, and Anna begins to offer good roles. There was a good chance to show yourself in the picture Messenger with Bodrov Jr. The project was promising. Scale, budget, cast. Everything in order to create a masterpiece. But suddenly trouble happens. The special news broadcasts about an avalanche that hit a film crew in the Caucasus Mountains. No one survived. Anna was saved by chance - the day before she was leaving for Moscow on business. The anticipated new film with Anna Dubrovskaya never came out.

In 2004, not really hoping for success, Anna plays the difficult role of a vampire in the film adaptation of Sergei Lukyanenko's trilogy Night Watch. But the result then pleased everyone.
