Born on November 27, 1959 in Moscow.
In 1985 he graduated from the State Medical University. Gnesins in the composition class, where he studied with his father, professor of the Moscow State Conservatory R.S. Ledenev.
Since 1982 he has been working in the cinema. He wrote music for 50 films, television and video films, as well as for theatrical performances.
Received prizes and diplomas "for the best music" at film festivals both in the country and abroad.
Since 1991 - a member of the Unions of Cinematographers of Russia and Belarus. In 2009 he was a member of the jury of the 3rd All-Russian competition of composers named after Andrey Petrov
