The popular Ukrainian actor Valery Astakhov was born on August 6, 1964 in the village of Slavuta, which is located in the Khmelnytsky region. Valeriy honed his creative skills at the Karpenko-Kary State Institute of Theater Arts in Kiev. His debut on the theater stage took place as an actor of the New Alcazar troupe. Astakhov is a very versatile personality - in addition to playing in the theater, he also tried to host show programs, starting in 1988 he starred in such television projects as Playing in a Box, Gop-la, Belaya Crow, Golden Goose and was organizing Pavel Zibrov's concerts.
The first serious movie with Valery Astakhov was shown on television in 2005, it was a dramatic and criminal story about police officers and their faithful four-legged comrade Mukhtar.
