July 18, 1940 - April 22, 1995, St. Petersburg.
Graduated from VGIK in 1965, workshop of A.G. Shishkov. From the same year he became an actor of the Lenfilm film studio .
Kolushkin made his film debut while still a student - he starred in the short film "Bon Voyage" (1963).
He performed both characteristic roles and the roles of a lyric-heroic plan.
By the mid-90s, the actor, like most others, was virtually out of work. Grieving this, German Kolushkin committed suicide by throwing himself off the bridge into the Neva.
