German Khovanov - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips.
June 6, 1912 - July 12, 1984.
After graduating from school, German Khovanov was first a worker for two years, then a technician-technologist. In 1931 he entered the theater studio at the Leningrad Bolshoi Drama Theater, graduating from which in 1935 he became an actor in this theater. In 1938, Khovanov went to Rostov-on-Don and worked there for two years at the Gorky Drama Theater. In 1940 he returned to Leningrad and joined the troupe of the Leningrad Theater named after the Lenin Komsomol, where he worked until his retirement in 1979. In the cinema, the actor played mainly everyday and heroic roles.
