Born on August 17, 1963 in Taganrog.
In 1985 he graduated from the acting department of GITIS (workshop of I. Sudakova and L. Knyazeva) .
Since 1985 he played in the Moscow theater "Satyricon" under the direction of Arkady Raikin, then served in the Soviet Army, in the air defense forces.
Since 1989 he has been an actor in the independent studio of Alla Sigalova and the theater of Roman Viktyuk. On the theatrical stage he gained fame after his role in the production of Roman Viktyuk "The Handmaids".
He made his film debut in the films "The Right People" (1986) and "Goodbye, Zamoskovoretskaya punks" (1987).
