Vladimir Torsuev was born with his brother on April 22, 1966. He began his acting career in 1979, when the film Adventures of Electronics was filmed at the Odessa Film Studio. For a long time, the directors were looking for suitable persons and, in the end, they came across the brothers Torsuevs, who knew everything that was required, and in addition they sang and danced beautifully. Initially, Vladimir was approved for the role of Syroezhkin, and his brother Yuri for the role of Electronics, but during the filming, something did not work out, and the directors decided to change places. The picture was filmed for eight months, and all this time the brothers lived alone in Odessa.
Thanks to the filming in this tape, the guys became famous and received from fans up to fifty letters a day. After completing their studies at school, Vladimir and his brother went to study at the Polygraphic Institute, but it did not work out with science, and they were expelled. Before serving in the army, the brothers took part in another film Dunno from our yard, but the tape did not receive much success.
After service, Vladimir entered the Faculty of Philosophy at Moscow State University, but his studies did not work out, and as a result, he never acquired a higher education. And soon a new film was released with Vladimir Torsuev and Yuri called Russian Brothers. In this film, Yuri played a positive role, while Vladimir played a criminal.
