She was born on May 3, 1966 in a family of actors Oleg Tabakov and Lyudmila Krylova.
At school she was strong in mathematics, and everyone was sure that she would enter some technical university. What is most interesting, Alexandra herself thought so, and then suddenly took, and entered the Moscow Art Theater School, which she graduated in 1987 (course leader - V.N.Bogomolov).
After graduating from the Moscow Art Theater School, she worked in the theater under the direction of O. Tabakov, a TV presenter (program "Let's go").
She worked as a TV presenter on German TV for six years.
She made her film debut in the film "Little Vera" by V. Pichula.
