Born on March 17, 1960, Moscow, RSFSR, USSR - Soviet and Russian theater and film actor.
In September 1986, immediately after graduating from GITIS (course of Oleg Tabakov), he was accepted into the troupe of the Moscow Theater Studio under the direction of Oleg Tabakov. He is one of the founders of the theater studio.
Sergei Belyaev began his theatrical career as a stage worker at the Maly Theater. There he was noticed. Entered the Shchepkin Higher Theater School, and two years later transferred to GITIS. For more than twenty years of service in the Moscow Studio Theater under the direction of Oleg Tabakov, Sergei has played many roles - large and small. Each of them was distinguished by its own special charm, each was remembered.

Now at the Oleg Tabakov Theater he is engaged in the performances "Uncle Vanya" by A. P. Chekhov (Telegin), "The Idiot" by F. M. Dostoevsky (Lebedev), "Art" by Ya. Reza (Ivan), "Passion for Bumbarash" by Yulia Kim (Gavrila) .
At the Moscow Art Theater named after A.P. Chekhov he plays in the performances "No. 13" by Ray Cooney (Manager), "Donut" by Guy de Maupassant (Folanvi), "The Little Humpbacked Horse" by the Presnyakov brothers based on the fairy tale by P. Ershov (Tsar).
