Born November 19, 1936 in the city of Oryol.
Parents died in the war, and little Alya was raised by her grandmother and aunt. In 1954 she entered the State Institute of Theater Arts (GITIS, now RATI). Since 1958 she has been an actress at the Moscow Stanislavsky Drama Theater.
Married to Vladimir Korenev.
Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1999).
